What do the percentages on the funnel mean

On the Convead sales funnel, percentages can be found in two places:

1. In the channels above the funnel.

Here, the percentage shows how much of the total traffic the channel has brought.

2. On the colored steps of the funnel.

Here the percentage is calculated relative to the upper step. For example “Carts 11%” means that 11% of the visitors moved from the “Carts” step to the “Looked at the goods” step. And 80% on the “Buy” step is not the total conversion of the store, but the conversion from the “Cart” step to “Buy”.

Thus, the funnel shows the relative conversion from each step to the next. The total conversion from all visits to purchases can be seen in the metrics – the rectangles to the right of the sales funnel.
