How to add a field to the widget with consent to the processing of personal data

On July 1, 2017, changes in the legislation governing the rules of personal data processing came into force. Now on your widgets, which have a field to collect email addresses, you must include a method for the visitor to consent to the processing of their personal data.

We propose to do this in the form of a checkbox: “I agree to the processing of my personal data”. Only by checking this box can the visitor click on the button on the widget.

How do you set this up? Open your widget at the “Content” step and drag the “I agree” block into the widget body.

In the text edit box on the right, add a link to your privacy policy page. You can change the text to any that you like. The width of the block with the checkbox can be adjusted by external indents – add more indentation on the right and the width of the block will decrease.
